India Clean Air Connect is a response to air quality convenings hosted by the India Climate Collaborative, Clean Air Fund, ClimateWorks Foundation and Shakti Sustainable Energy Foundation in 2019 and 2020.

Job description
Envitrans is actively seeking detail-oriented Environmental Research Associates specializing in air quality management, dispersion modeling, and meteorology. Responsibilities include conducting literature surveys, analyzing data, and producing comprehensive reports and presentations. Strong computational skills and scientific expertise in these fields are preferred.

Responsibilities
- Conduct literature reviews and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in air quality management, dispersion modeling, and meteorology.
- Acquire, analyze, and interpret air quality and meteorological data for research purposes.
- Collaborate with team members to design and implement studies related to air quality management and dispersion modeling.
- Perform computer simulations and modeling using relevant software tools to assess and predict air pollutant dispersion patterns.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations summarizing research findings and recommendations.
- Assist software users by providing technical support and resolving queries related to air quality management and dispersion modeling.
- Stay informed about regulatory guidelines and standards related to air quality and ensure compliance in research projects.
Eligibility
- Master's degree or PhD in Environmental Science, Atmospheric Science, or a related field, with a focus on air quality management, dispersion modeling, or meteorology.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of air quality management, dispersion modeling, and meteorology principles.
- Proficiency in using software tools such as AERMOD, CALPUFF, HYSPLIT, ADMS or similar dispersion models.
- Experience with statistical analysis and data visualization techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
