India Clean Air Connect is a response to air quality convenings hosted by the India Climate Collaborative, Clean Air Fund, ClimateWorks Foundation and Shakti Sustainable Energy Foundation in 2019 and 2020.

Job description
As Environmental Manager, You Will…
- Implement environmental policies and practices
- Create strategies to meet targets and to encourage best practice
- Devise the best tools and systems to monitor performance and to implement strategies
- Ensure compliance with environmental legislation
- Assess, analyze and collate environmental performance data and report information to internal staff, clients and regulatory bodies
- Work with procurement to establish environmental goals with our vendors and suppliers
- Manage environmental strategy budgets
- Liaise with internal staff
- Act as a champion or cheerleader for environmental issues
- Provide environmental training to staff at all levels
- Schedule and lead audits to confirm effectiveness of environmental systems
- Create plans and reports
- Keep up to date with relevant changes in environmental legislation and initiatives including international legislation where applicable
- Produce educational or information resources for internal staff, clients or the general public
- Liaise with regulatory bodies such as the regional/national environmenta
Eligibility
Environmental Manager, You Need:
- Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in an environmental related subject (required)
- The ability to handle a high volume of work
- Strong time management, organizational and prioritization skills
- Exceptional attention to detail with an eye for accuracy
- Proven leadership qualities such as critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Strong communication skills and a love for collaborating with diverse groups of people
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment
- Flexibility to travel to all our locations may be required
