India Clean Air Connect is a response to air quality convenings hosted by the India Climate Collaborative, Clean Air Fund, ClimateWorks Foundation and Shakti Sustainable Energy Foundation in 2019 and 2020.
India's air pollution is not limited to one city or one source
Solving for India's air pollution crisis means:
1.
Aligning efforts across different disciplines to address multiple sources of pollution
2.
Improving air quality in all 124 non-attainment cities, 73 polluted industrial clusters and more
3.
Amplifying and strengthening existing efforts and networks
124 Non-attainment cities
73 Critically polluted industrial clusters
If your work seeks to improve India’s air quality through communication, advocacy, research, policy change, planning, litigation, community engagement or market-based solutions, join #IndiaCleanAirConnect

About the Event
Join us on May 10, 2023, at 11 am IST for an exciting webinar on the importance of e-mobility action plan for a city for accelerated EV adoption. While the central and state governments have taken steps towards e-mobility adoption, local governments have faced challenges due to the gap between regulatory ecosystem implementation and actual targets. To overcome this, we need city-level action plans that can help various stakeholders take coordinated actions in a phased manner.
In this webinar, government representatives from Kochi, Rajkot, and Surat will share insights from the city-level e-mobility action plans prepared under the ICLEI South Asia's initiative of Supporting Indian Cities to Take Leadership on EVs. Additionally, a representative from the Delhi #EV cell will share the #EV related actions and initiatives being undertaken to promote higher adoption of EVs.
To join the webinar, click on this link https://bit.ly/42pvNhk or scan the QR code on the poster. This webinar is part of our latest E-mobility series, the upcoming sessions will focus on updates in building bylaws/rules for EV-ready buildings, electrification of municipal fleets, and the regulatory and financial ecosystem of e-rickshaws.
