The speaker of the session is Dr. Ajay Nagpure, a Senior Scientist at Princeton University. He is a distinguished sustainability researcher and practitioner with a 20-year career marked by his pivotal role in driving impactful global initiatives. His areas of expertise span air pollution, climate change, sustainability, urban infrastructure, health, policy development, and capacity building.

About the organiser

The Centre for Geospatial Technology (CGT) at SRM University-AP, Andhra Pradesh is an interdisciplinary research centre that aims to harness the power of geospatial science and provide solutions to industry and socially relevant problems while enabling students to learn about Geographical Information Science (GIS) through experiential learning. The mission of CGT is to spearhead the advancement of GIS technology through active collaborations with academic institutions and industries. The team of CGT, with vast experience in geospatial technology, offers services to various government and non-government agencies and also industries. Services of CGT range from education, training, and implementation of customised GIS solutions.
