This Webinar as part of CAPHER - India Webinar Series aims to create an opportunity for learning and reflection on the association between tuberculosis (TB) and air pollution, including available evidence globally and in India,opportunities for air quality management in tuberculosis prevention and control, research priorities and the relevance for public health policy making. Webinar participants are expected to include academics and researchers, medical practitioners, members of civil society groups,non-profit organizations and others.

About the organiser

Launched in 2021, the Collaborative for Air Pollution and Health Effects Research–India (CAPHER-India) is the first national network focused on air pollution and health effects research in India. The network brings together teams of researchers from various scientific disciplines including atmospheric chemistry, air pollution measurement and modeling, epidemiology, biostatistics, medicine, basic sciences and health policy. CAPHER-India is coordinated by the All India Institute for Medical Sciences (AIIMS-Delhi), in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Technology-Delhi (IIT-Delhi). The network is supported by the Health Effects Institute (HEI).
